It is the problem-solving approach to examine and treat children and adults suffering problems with functions, movements and nerve connections with the brain due to lesion in the central nerve system.
It is based on motor learning. Acquisition of a new or the optimization of an already controlled movement through constant modification of the movement. Movements are defined as an interaction of many subsystems, each having their role in motor control.
The treatment seeks to optimize children/adults position and movement strategy, improving skills, as well as to integrate improved control of active participation in daily life.
